This is a workshop focusing on actual practices and activities that foster and psychological safety.

This is a 3 hour workshop that assumes an essential understanding of psychological safety.

It's designed to be applicable to any industry, from technology to healthcare, local government to education.

Date: 27 June 2023

Time: 1pm-4pm UK time.

We cover the following aspects of measuring psychological safety:

  • An brief review of the theory of psychological safety.
  • The rationale for measuring it in long and short-lived teams.
  • The costs, risks and dangers of measuring psychological safety.
  • Formulating your own Research Question.
  • Longitudinal vs Cross-sectional research.
  • Sociological Research Methods: Quantitative, Qualitative and Mixed-Methods approaches.
  • Research Ethics
  • Further reading and resources.

Our online measurement essentials course is one 3-hour workshop and examines the theory as well as practice of measuring psychological safety and other aspects of culture.

We address measurement from a practitioner perspective whilst acknowledging the academic perspective also. It’s interactive, engaging, and hands-on.

Tom Geraghty

Tom Geraghty, founder and CEO of Iterum Ltd, is an expert in safety cultures and psychological safety.
